78 crew and passengers safe after Mogadishu-Nairobi flight emergency landed due to technical failure

MOGADISHU (KAAB TV) – According to airline operator representative Ali Mohamed, all 78 passengers and crew are safe after the flight operated by Saa’id Air, under the Salaam Air operators, made an emergency landing when the plane failed to deploy its landing gear on Monday.

No injuries were reported, according to officials.

The flight was traveling from Mogadishu to Nairobi, representatives confirmed.

Mogadishu airport officials have stated that the passengers were successfully evacuated.

The airline operator said they are now testing the aircraft to assess the technical problem.
