MUQDISHO (KAAB TV) – The Federal Government of Somalia’s forces, especially those located in Mogadishu’s Deniile area, captured a man claimed of being responsible for a killing in Darussalam yesterday.
According to officials, the main suspect in the killing was a member of the local security forces named Mahad Ali Mohamud, who was 26 years old.
The individual who died was also known as Ahmed Nur Tooxow, and he was reported to be 32 years old.
It is unclear what the official reason for the young man’s death was, or whether there is a conflict between the man who killed him and the person who died.
A/fitah Adan Hassan, a spokeswoman for the Somali Police Force, told the media that the suspect is being pursued and would face the consequences of what he did.
Somalia’s government has issued a warning to soldiers who kill civilians, stating that those found will face legal action. She emphasised that the forces are responsible for protecting people’s lives and property, and that the Somali government and people are expected to battle the common enemy of Al-Shabaab while also working together to liberate the country from this group.
