Nairobi (Kaab TV) – A fierce fighting and indiscriminate shelling entered into the fourth day in Laascaanood town of Sool region between the Somaliland forces and the opposing local forces from the Dhulbahante clan.
The fighting which broke out on Monday resulted hundreds of deaths including civilians and the injury of several hundreds, according to local hospitals and journalists.

We are closely monitoring the crisis in #Lasanod. We are appalled by reports of large numbers of people killed, injured & displaced, & damage to homes & a hospital. Unlawful killings & other violations must end & there must be immediate unhindered access for humanitarian actors.
