Gedo (KAAB TV) – Difficul conditions are being reported in Luuq district of Gedo region after the river overflowed last night.
The reports say that the water of the river broke the bank and entered the neighborhoods of the two districts where they caused various damages.
Also, alot of water came to the river and washed away many farms in that district which are planted with many crops.
Another side, A large displacement occurred which affected many families which do not know where they move.
Also, the people started leaving their homes after being informed that the water is a short distance away.
It is the first After 30 years The Jubba River caused widespread flooding in the districts of Dolow and Luuq according to the officials of those districts.
Bardhere district in the same Gedo region has also been heavily flooded by the Jubba river in the last few hours where it has caused widespread displacement and other losses.
