Mogadisho (KAAB TV) – The military court today sentenced General Shegow and his bodyguards to death and military imprisonment.
Also, the military court ordered the General Shegow to pay the compensation of the soldier he killed and the soldier he injured.
Ahmed Mohamed Hassan, who was the leader of the army, was sentenced to death and this man was found to have killed two men in front of Jowhar court on February 13 this year.
The armed forces court also sentenced the other 18 soldiers who were part of General Sheegow’s army to 6 years in military prison and to pay compensation to the government soldiers who died at their hands.
Another side, The military court also found Abdirahman Ibrahim Bashow (Marshal) and Mohamed Abukar Abdullahi, both of whom were the perpetrators of the robbery that started the violence, and were charged on the thirteenth of August in this court for robbing the victims, Hassan. Ahmed Hassan & Isse Ali Muse, the court sentenced them to five years in military prison and to return their mobile phones.
Finally, the military court found Mohamed Abdi Deqow to be the financier of the group and his phones were found in their connection to work in the trail of black dollar printing, the court sentenced him to three years in military prison.
