BULOBURTE, Somalia (KAAB TV) – In a significant boost to healthcare services, Bulaburte District Hospital in central Somalia has received a large donation of lifesaving medical equipment.

MP Mohamed Ibrahim Moalimuu spearheaded this initiative to support the marginalized communities in the Hiiraan region.

Bulaburte, a town in Hiiraan region is located about 202 kilometers north of Mogadishu.

The town’s community has faced a prolonged siege by the Al-Shabaab terrorist group for over 15 years. Despite the town being secured by ATMIS and the Somali National Army, access to essential services has remained limited.

The donation includes 25 hospital electronic beds, patient tables, 10 hospital infant beds, geriatric chairs, gynecological beds, patient trolleys, and vital machines such as dialysis units. These contributions are expected to significantly enhance medical care and emergency response capabilities in the area.
