MOGADISHU (KAAB TV) – Earlier today, Somali prime minister Hamza Abdi Barre announced a mini reshuffle of the cabinet of the ministers of the Federal Government of Somalia.
The reshuffle affects only six ministries including the foreign affairs, the interior and the security.
It came a week after the disputed constitutional change.
We reached out to the general public in Mogadishu to gauge their view regarding the cabinet reshuffle announced today by Prime Minister Hamza Barre.
While some members of the public welcomed the reshuffle, others expressed dissatisfaction, stating that chronic failures would persist as long as corrupt and incompetent individuals remained in the cabinet.
