Mogadishu entrepreneur found dead days after he was abducted

|

MOGADISHU (KAAB TV) – The body of Mogadishu sports business entrepreneur Abukar Ahmed has been discovered on Thursday, days after he was reported missing by his family.

Ahmed, known for his contributions to the community through the construction of soccer pitches across Mogadishu, was reportedly kidnapped earlier this week from his residence in the Heliwaa district.

Details surrounding Abukar Ahmed’s abduction remain scarce, with his family citing gunmen as the perpetrators.

The grim discovery was made on Thursday in the Garasbaaley neighborhood, located on the opposite corner of the city from where Ahmed was taken.

The body has since been transferred to the criminal investigations department, although authorities have yet to release any statements regarding the incident.
