Hargeysa (KAAB TV) – There are still five men in Mogadishu who are reportedly from the administration areas of Somaliland and who are thought to have participated in the killing of Abdinasir Dahable of the Somali Civil Aviation Authority.

Also, Abdinasir Dahable’s body was found in the Wadajir district of the Banadir region, at the home he rented.

However, in an announcement to the media today, Abdillahi Hussein, the deputy minister of internal affairs for Somaliland, charged that Abdinasir Dahable’s death was the result of the Somali government’s efforts and placed the blame on Somalilanders.

He said that the five individuals arrested in relation to Abdinasir Dahable’s death are being subjected to severe and painful torture, and that the purpose of the torture is to force them to confess to being the murder’s perpetrators.

“The five girls who were working with Abdinasir Dahable and who were friends, who were killed by Abdinasir and who are being tortured every day, they are holding their necks and removing their nails,” said Minister Abdillahi.

In the end, the Somali government’s investigative departments, which are still working on the issue, have not released the results of their study into Abdinasir Dahable’s killing, and there is still no proof that a court has been established for these people who were detained inin the homicide case.
