LAASCAANOOD (KAAB TV) – The leader of SSC-Khaatumo State, Abduqadir Aw-Ali Firdhiye, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to his people on the commencement of Ramadan, while emphasizing the imperative of peace and stability in the region.
“A year ago this time, we all remember the situation we were facing. Our people were performing Ramadan under constant shelling and war,” he recounted, alluding to the Somaliland forces’ shelling on the city of Laascaanood.
Firdhiye expressed gratitude for the prevailing peace and stability, stating, “For the first time, we hope to perform Ramadan without violence of shelling and war.”
Emphasizing the significance of unity and cohesion, the SSC-Khaatumo leader urged assistance to the less fortunate within their community.
He remarked, “All SSC-Khaatumo people should be happy that they are in peace and stability.”
