Qoryooley (KAAB TV) – According to government media, federal government forces, with the assistance of international security partners, are continuing planned operations against Al-Shabaab insurgents, especially on the roadblocks they have set up to extort money from the populace.
The planned operations by the Federal Government and foreign forces are said to have occurred in Furuqley village, near Qoryooley district, Lower Shabelle region.
The Federal Government of Somalia’s forces, which get air backing from international allies, conduct planned operations in the majority of Al-Shabaab’s strongholds. These missions were carried out by the AS fighters stationed there.
Somalia’s senior leaders have banded together to bolster operations and provide backing to government forces conducting them. The president promised that operations would not halt until the ultimate triumph was accomplished.
