Ruunirgood (KAAB TV) –  Last night, aeroplanes assisting the Somali military bombed Al Shabaab vehicles and other places in the Hirshabelle and Galmudug regions.

A large attack was launched against Al Shabaab’s traffic and people checkpoint on the outskirts of Ruunirgood district in the Middle Shabelle region, killing 10 Al Shabaab fighters, said reports.

Officials from the government troops also stated that the bombing was demolished by a vehicle belonging to the Al Shabaab group, and that they dispersed from the location where they were harassing the victims.

Another attack was carried out in the Arfuudo area of Wadaariq village in the Mudug district, targeting Al Shabaab fighters and destroying four Al Shabaab positions.

Also, during the attack in the Mudug region, an Al Shabaab-owned garage was destroyed, as were military vehicles and other vehicles thought to be prepped for explosions.
